Australia is such a beautiful and interesting country. Though it is quite expensive, 5 aud for a liter of coke and other groceries in general, especially alcohol and clothing too, though with apparel one can still find good deals. The accommodation prices where relatively not so bad, as compared to everything else.
For US citizens, a visa is required for entry but is very easy to obtain online- just fill out a form and pay the 20 aud and a couple minutes later you get an email saying it was approved.
I was there during the summer, so the weather was akin to Florida and I was in Cairns in the northeast for part of the time and it felt like Florida even the infrastructure, but the big difference having mountains.
I definitely think seeing this part of the world is worth the experience and price.
Now here is a virtual tour of my adventures “down under.”
